Ouaga film lab is a platform for meetings between young talents from the continent and international consultants, and aims to be a development and co-production workshop for the 7th art in Africa.
Through its vision, it seeks to establish a direct dialogue between the various stakeholders in order to promote networking and exchanges around the difficulties inherent in film production both locally and internationally.

Ouaga Film Lab is one of the first development and co-production laboratories in West Africa.
Its main goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of directors and producers from the countries of the sub-region in the various major international laboratories and to facilitate their access to local financing funds, international co-productions and their close collaboration with confirmed mentors from the continent.

The driving force behind a co-production can be either financial or artistic. By committing to a co-production, producers agree to contribute their financial resources, creativity, skills and materials, which can be useful in financing and making the film in question!

In the case of Ouaga Film Lab, the project organizers explain that their main objective is: "the strengthening of the competitiveness of directors and producers from the countries of the sub-region in the various major international laboratories and facilitating their access to local financing funds, international co-productions and their close collaboration with confirmed mentors from the continent.
