he series Kenda, co-produced with Ivorian company iMotion, and the Nigerian feature film Lady Buckit and the motley mopsters (LBMM), broadcast by Trace, are a testament to the success of African animation on a global scale.
The plot of the series begins with the upcoming delegate election in Kenda's school. The little girl and her friends must choose between Fat Jules, who offers them strawberry-filled cookies ("without ulterior motive"), cheats and spreads rumors, or the upstanding student Adamo.

To watch the series Kenda, go to the channels of the Trace group, which co-produces this animated series with the Ivorian company iMotion of Stéphane Mendonça. The cartoon contains 15 episodes of 5 minutes each and was selected for the prestigious Annecy animation film festival. Another project broadcast by the channel: Lady Buckit and the motley mopsters (LBMM), a Nigerian animated feature by director Adebisi Adetayo, is also in the selection.

Networks (such as the African Animation Network based in Johannesburg), festivals (Accra Animation Film Festival, Abidjan Animation Film Festival, Fupitoons festival...) and more and more professionals are emerging on the continent. At the same time, the giants of the sector, such as Pixar, are offering the services of local animators for the production of their films.
