Toulouse is hosting one of the first post-containment outdoor festivals in France, with measures adapted to the Covid-19 epidemic. And for this special edition, it is Africa that "Rio Loco" has chosen to invite from June 13 to 20, as part of the cultural season "Africa 2020".
Indeed, Africa 2020 is a platform for sharing and questioning the state of contemporary societies, but above all, it also gives the possibility that these societies, which had sometimes lost sight of each other, can again dialogue and shine together.
The program is rich, mixing sure values and discoveries. We will see about twenty groups and artists. Among them, the Franco-Rwandan Gaël Faye and the German-Nigerian Ayo; the Congolese Jupiter & Okwess, Ray Lema and Sam Mangwana; the Malians Amadou & Mariam, Fatoumata Diawara and Bassekou Kouyaté; the Cameroonian Blick Bassy, the Ivorian Dobet Gnahoré, the Senegalese Wasis Diop.
