The program has begun accepting applications and will give those involved the chance to gain writing experience at Netflix or Sky in order to get their first TV credits.

Anne Mensah, Vice President of UK Original Series and Jane Millichip, Director of Programming at Sky Studios said: "(...) today we are launching a new one-year fellowship for six exceptional writers. The program is led by British writer Bisha K Ali, who helped write the first series of Sex Education and is now head writer of Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel series.
The program includes:
Direct experience in the writing room of a Netflix or Sky commissioned series;
Mentorship from a member of the Netflix or Sky commissioning teams upon completion of the program;
The opportunity to develop a script alongside the writers and producers on set;
A fully paid scholarship for the duration of the program." 

Winners will also complete a paid internship at the end and write a script that will be improved by the experts involved by Netflix in the project.
